Many of us had to go low demand for a variety of reasons. Low demand is triage for the injuries and illness that led to burnout. What does moving beyond low demand look like? It's not weird if you don't want to live there! I, too, tend a garden of spicy peppers. It's hard work, but it's honest.  I founded Velaris Psych in 2022 and began my dive down the PDA rabbit hole that same year. I had come to realize the previous year that it was in my immediate family and, like most of us, thus began the journey.  In the years since, I became a founding member of the PDA Therapy Collaborative, founded a Charlotte, NC-based peer group for professionals,  presented about PDA at the Annual Renfrew Conference, completed a webinar about PDA and ARFID for PDA North America, and have cultivated one of the leading PDA-affirming practices in North Carolina.
